Unbelievable Road Accident

The World's Biggest Swimming Pool in Chile

It is more than 1,000 yards long, covers 20 acres, has a 115-foot deep end, and holds 66 million gallons of water.
The Guinness Book of Records has named the vast pool beside the sea in Chile as the biggest in the world.
But if you fancy splashing out on one of your own -- and you have the space to accommodate it -- then beware: this one took five years to build, cost nearly 1 billion, and the annual maintenance bill will be 2 million.
The man-made saltwater lagoon has been attracting huge crowds to the San Alfonso del Mar resort at Algarrobo, on Chile 's southern coast, since it opened last month.
Its turquoise waters are so crystal clear that you can see the bottom even in the deep end.
It dwarfs the world's second biggest pool, the Orthlieb  --  nicknamed the Big Splash --  in Morocco , which is a mere 150 yards long and 100 yards wide. An Olympic size pool measures some 50 yards by 25 yards.
Chile's monster pool uses a computer-controlled suction and filtration system to keep fresh seawater in permanent circulation, drawing it in from the ocean at one end and pumping it out at the other.
The sun warms the water to 26c, nine degrees warmer than the adjoining sea.
Chilean biochemist Fernando Fischmann, whose Crystal Lagoons Corporation designed the pool, said advanced engineering meant his company could build "an impressive artificial paradise" even in inhospitable areas. It uses hardly any chemicals.
"As long as we have access to unlimited seawater, we can make it work, and it causes no damage to the ocean."

Amazing Swimming Pool ... The Devil Pool

If you’re ever in Zimbabwe, don’t miss the chance to take a swim in The Devil’s Pool, a small lagoon, enclosed by rocks, on the edge of one of the biggest, most beautiful waterfalls in the world, Victoria Falls. Set on Livingstone Island, at a height of 103 meters, Devil’s Pool is definitely one of the most surreal locations on Earth.

One Wheel Motorcycles

The Uno one wheeled motorcycle

Uno electric bike parked
Invented by an 18 year old from Canada - Ben Gulak , the UNO is a one wheel motorcycle that truly balances out. Right now there are 3 working prototypes. It only has one switch which is the power switch! To go forward you push your body weight forward to tilt the machine. To back up, just lean back. The farther you lean the faster it goes. Whats more is that this bike is electric so its more eco friendly.

Check out this article on the design of it on Motorcylcemojo. Ben had some help from a few companies after selling his idea to them, but all they really did is give him some of the necessary components like the body, wheels, and the complex gyros to balance the cycle. One Wheel Amazing Motorcycle... widely known as The Uno, it is a seemingly one wheeled motorcycle. Like every year, the 2008 National Motorcycle Show held in Toronto was also stimulated by the American V-twin gang and featured handful of elite machines by area’s top custom builders.

ANOTHER ONE WHEEL MOTOR CYCLE - Embrio design

Will it balance two riders on wheel? It claims to develop gyroscopes and sensors that will balance both riders on the Embrio design. In addition, it includes a small front “secondary” wheel for speeds under 12.5 mph, as to keep the balance when driving slow.

The small handlebar has a left and right trigger that would make the Embrio move forward and brake respectively. Furthermore, to turn using this bad boy, a rider would just need to lean towards the side he or she desires.
At first look it seems practically impossible to keep this motorcycle balanced and safe, but they do envision this to come out in 17 years. Maybe by then, technology advancement would make it feasible or maybe there would be bigger and better ideas available. One thing is for sure…it gives a new term for popping a wheelie.
